Weta Critter Stick Mini

New Zealand is home to over 70 ancient weta species. There are five main groups – the cave weta, tree weta, giant weta, ground weta and tusked weta. They are characterised by their amour-like exoskeletons with overlapping plates, and their spiny legs. Females have an ovipositor at the rear for laying eggs, often mistaken for a stinger.

Your mini weta critter stick is designed and made in New Zealand; it measures a maximum of 230mm wide by 280mm high and comes with a 25cm stake – on arrival, simply screw the weta on to the stake and your mini critter stick is ready to place in the garden. Constructed from weathering steel, your critter stick will weather naturally, and settle into your landscape over time – forming a beautiful rusty patina.
